Seoul shares open higher on techs, banks

SEOUL, April 12 (Reuters) – Seoul shares opened higher on Monday helped by key techs and banks including Hynix and Shinhan Financial, with the Bank of Korea’s hike to its 2010 economic growth forecast boosting the market further.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was up 0.38 percent at 1,731.09 points as of 0004 GMT.
