ECONOMIC INDICATORS:

Commerce Department releases the May retail sales, 8:30

a.m. (1230 GMT). Economists in a Reuters measure and estimate expect a 0.2

percent rise versus a 0.4 percent enlarge in April. Excluding

automobiles, sales are expected to rise 0.1 percent compared

by a 0.4 percent increase in April.

Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers

relinquish preliminary June consumer sentiment index, 9:55 a.m.

(1355 GMT). Economists in a Reuters measure and estimate expect a reading of

74.5 compared with 73.6 in the decisive May report.

Commerce Department issues Business Inventories for April,

10 a.m. (1400 GMT). Economists in a Reuters review expect a

rise of 0.5 percent versus a 0.4 percent grow in the prior

month.

Economic Cycle Research Institute (ECRI) releases its

weekly index of economic activity for June 4, 10:30 a.m. (1430

GMT). In the precedent week the index read 124.1.
